You must show evidence of a nursing education for the type of nursing (RN, RPN or NP) that you want to practise in Ontario.

Applicants meet this requirement by completing a nursing program approved by the College.

If you did not complete an approved nursing program, then we will look at your nursing education and nursing experience, if any, to determine if it meets the entry-to-practice education requirement.

5. Has the College reviewed all your nursing education and determined that it is equivalent to that of a current graduate of an approved Ontario university baccalaureate nursing program?	YES	Requirement Met

8. You must complete the evaluation of your nursing knowledge, skill, and judgement at the Touchstone Institute. Then continue to number 9.
9. Has the College reviewed the results of your Touchstone Institute evaluation along with your nursing education and any nursing practice information you many have, and determined that you have the equivalent nursing knowledge, skill and judgement to that of a current graduate of an approved Ontario university baccalaureate nursing program? 10. You will need to complete additional education to address competency gaps identified by the evaluation.
